Barter by. DRESSRESPONSIBLY is a grassroots social enterprise that effectively utilizes our resources to improve social change and raise awareness for environmental conservation.
Our efforts are to avoid the contribution to landfills and waste prevention by hosting clothing swap events.
We are passionate about continuously seeking new and innovative strategies to collaborate and create partnerships to promote our efforts.
We strive to redefine how corporations interact with social enterprises and the ability to go beyond monetary donations by delivering engaging outputs.

How it Works
Our social responsibility is bringing awareness to sustainable and regenerative fashion and building quality over quantity wardrobes. The success of our events is dependent on the number of participants, collaborations and partnerships.

Participants are encouraged to declutter their wardrobes and donate new and gently used clothing items to our events. In return, participants choose a maximum of 10 fashion takeaways.
Each event includes exclusive brand-name fashions, accessories, jewelry and footwear; all sizes and seasons are welcome! We provide a convenient and hassle-free shopping experience that includes style consultants and alteration services.

We host these events to establishes connections, promote change and support our communities.
The fashion items cater to all social demographics and increase self-esteem. Whether preparing for court proceedings, employment interviews or transitioning from daywear to a gala party; we have you covered!
Our past events have shown remarkable success! We’ve hosted 20+ events, and served over 5000 participants resulting in an estimated 20,000 unclaimed fashion and textiles donated and supported by our community members.
These initiatives would not be possible without the ongoing resources and support from community members and partners.
